What brings me joy

I am a nature enthusiast, avid reader, indoor plant lover, and passionate photographer..
I connect with myself and others through film photography, reading, music, art, travel, exercise, and hiking.

Nature and plants provide me with a calming influence, while reaching mountaintops often brings me to tears of wonder. Through photography, I have discovered the art of slowing down and appreciating the subtle details that often evade us in our fast-paced lives.

Growing up, reading provided an escape into a realm of fantasy when the real world presented overwhelming challenges. To this day, books serve as a means for me to disconnect from the external distractions and connect deeply with myself. Music and art have the incredible ability to transport me to the depths of my core self, allowing me to explore my innermost thoughts and emotions. On the other hand, traveling serves as a gateway that connects me to the world, enabling me to experience diverse cultures, landscapes, and perspectives.
I thrive on challenges and pushing my limits. My adventurous spirit drives my love for exploration and seeking new experiences. Whether alone or with loved ones, I find immense joy in these adventures. I am incredibly grateful to have a partner who shares the same passions as I do, as it creates a special bond on our journey. Moreover, I consider myself fortunate and proud to be the mother of young adults who not only share a sense of humor with me but also bring lightness to life. This shared outlook has been invaluable in helping us navigate through challenging times together.

My early experiences

I am the second of four siblings, raised by a pharmacist mother and a Spanish navy colonel father. My upbringing provided me with opportunities for which I am immensely thankful, yet it also came with its own set of challenges that I continue to navigate. I started playing golf at the age of six and competed at a national level until I turned eighteen. Sports have consistently played a vital role in my life, offering both stability and balance.

At the age of fifteen, I had the opportunity to spend a year studying abroad in Tennessee as an exchange student, fully immersing myself in a new culture and language. While this transformative experience came with its challenges, I was lucky to have an amazing host family that supported me throughout the year, leaving a profound impact on my life. When my mother passed away from cancer when I was nineteen, it left a deep emptiness in my heart. Although this remains a difficult reality to face at times, it has shaped me into the independent, resilient, and strong person I am today.

After completing my pharmacy studies, I moved to Austria to marry my now ex-husband, again embracing a new culture and language. Even though I achieved my dreams of a successful career and three wonderful children, I found myself feeling unfulfilled and dissatisfied in my relationships and within myself. I realized that my inability to manage conflicts contributed to significant issues, leaving me feeling invisible and frustrated.

In 2012, following my divorce, I decided to take full responsibility for my situation rather than adopting a victim mentality. This decision marked the beginning of my journey toward understanding human relationships and enhancing my self-awareness. I learned that while I couldn’t change others, I had the power to change myself. This realization inspired me to pursue further education in relationship coaching, somatics, and trauma, equipping me with essential tools for personal development and improving my relationships.

My emotional struggles also affected my physical health. I’ve undergone multiple surgeries, including bone transplants, faced kidney issues since childhood, and dealt with serious spinal problems. Many traditional medical professionals focused on my limitations, but I refused to accept that narrative. Instead, I sought alternative healing methods, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, meditation, and somatic practices. This journey was undoubtedly difficult and slow, but it helped me rebuild trust in myself and my body.

Currently, I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a fulfilling, supportive relationship that encourages growth and allows me to express my true self. Utilizing the skills I’ve acquired, I now assist others in embracing their authentic selves and navigating emotional challenges with empathy. If you’re interested in discovering how I can support you in enhancing your relationships, I invite you to arrange a complimentary discovery call. I look forward to hearing your story and embarking on this journey together.
